Understanding Dewbot Trading Styles (Oscillate vs Slide)

4 min read

Difference and Usage #

Dewbot gives you two trading styles to choose from inside the Trading GUI:

  • Oscillate
  • Slide

These styles do much more than determine how a session begins. They control how Dewbot handles trade direction for the entire trading session.

Choosing the right trading style helps you decide how much control you want over your trades and how much you want Dewbot to handle for you.

Where to Find the Trading Styles #

Once the Dewbot Trading GUI opens, you’ll find the Trading Style section near the top of the window.

You’ll see two options:

  • Oscillate
  • Slide

By default, Dewbot starts with Oscillate selected.

Oscillate Style #

Oscillate is Dewbot’s default trading style.

When you leave Oscillate selected, you’ll see a single button labeled Start.

With this style, you don’t choose whether trades should be Call or Put. Instead, Dewbot makes those decisions for you throughout the entire session.

That means:

  • Dewbot chooses the direction of the first trade.
  • It also decides the direction of every trade that follows.
  • As market conditions change, Dewbot can switch between Call and Put whenever its trading logic determines that it’s appropriate.

Throughout the session, Dewbot continuously analyzes the market and adjusts its direction based on what it predicts at that moment.

If you want the most automated experience, Oscillate is usually the better choice.

When Should You Use Oscillate? #

Choose Oscillate if you:

  • Want Dewbot to manage trade direction automatically.
  • Prefer a more hands-off trading session.
  • Don’t want to manually decide whether trades should be Call or Put.

Slide Style #

Slide gives you control over the trade direction.

When you select Slide, the single Start button changes into two buttons:

  • Call
  • Put

You simply choose the direction you want before starting the session.

More importantly, the direction you choose is the direction Dewbot will continue using for the entire trading session.

For example:

  • If you click Call, Dewbot continues placing Call trades throughout the session.
  • If you click Put, Dewbot continues placing Put trades throughout the session.

Unlike Oscillate, Dewbot does not switch directions during the session. It follows the direction you selected from the beginning.

This style is useful if you’ve already studied the market and want Dewbot to stay aligned with the trend you’ve identified.

For example:

  • If you believe the market is moving upward, you might choose Call.
  • If you believe the market is moving downward, you might choose Put.

When Should You Use Slide? #

Choose Slide if you:

  • Want to control the trade direction yourself.
  • Have identified a market trend and want Dewbot to follow it.
  • Prefer the trade direction to remain consistent throughout the session.

The Main Difference Between Oscillate and Slide #

The biggest difference between these two styles is who controls the trade direction during the session.

Trading StyleHow Trade Direction Works
OscillateDewbot decides the direction of every trade and can switch between Call and Put as the session progresses.
SlideYou choose the direction once at the start, and Dewbot continues using that same direction for the rest of the session.

This is the key difference between the two trading styles.

How to Select a Trading Style #

Setting your preferred trading style only takes a few steps.

Step 1: Open the Trading GUI #

Launch Dewbot and wait for the Trading GUI to appear.

Step 2: Choose a Trading Style #

In the Trading Style section, select either:

  • Oscillate
  • Slide

Step 3: Configure Your Session #

Set the other trading options you want to use, such as:

  • Trade Time
  • Target Profit
  • Stack Method
  • Trade Capital (Prime and Pro)
  • Base Amount (Pro only)

Step 4: Start Trading #

  • If you’re using Oscillate, click Start.
  • If you’re using Slide, click either Call or Put to begin the session.

Summary #

Dewbot offers two trading styles, each designed for a different level of control.

Oscillate gives Dewbot full control over trade direction. It analyzes the market throughout the session and decides whether each trade should be a Call or a Put.

Slide puts you in control of the direction. You choose either Call or Put before the session starts, and Dewbot continues trading in that same direction until the session ends.

If you want Dewbot to adapt to changing market conditions, choose Oscillate.

If you’ve already decided which direction you want to trade and want Dewbot to remain consistent with that choice, choose Slide.
