A Dewbot trading session doesn’t run forever. Every session will eventually come to an end, and the reason depends on what happens while Dewbot is trading.
In most cases, a session ends in one of three ways:
- The Target Profit is reached.
- The assigned Trade Capital is depleted.
- You stop the session manually.
Let’s look at each one.
1. Target Profit Reached #
One of the most common ways a session ends is by reaching your Target Profit.
As Dewbot trades, it continuously checks the progress of your current session. It does this by comparing your session’s allocated Trade Capital with the profit goal you’ve set.
Your session target is calculated as:
Trade Capital + Target Profit
Once Dewbot reaches or exceeds that amount, it automatically ends the session.
Depending on your version and the current session, Dewbot may refresh the trading page and display a notification letting you know that your Target Profit has been reached and the session has finished.
Example #
Suppose you set:
- Trade Capital: $50
- Target Profit: $10
Your session target becomes $60.
Once Dewbot has turned that $50 session capital into $60, the session ends automatically.
2. Trade Capital Depleted #
A session can also end when the Trade Capital you’ve assigned is no longer enough to continue trading.
It’s important to understand that this does not mean your entire broker account is empty.
It only refers to the amount you allocated for that particular Dewbot session.
Example #
Imagine your broker account contains $500, but you set your Dewbot Trade Capital to $50.
For that session, Dewbot will only work with the $50 you’ve assigned.
If that $50 is completely used, or the remaining amount is smaller than the next trade Dewbot needs to place, the session will end automatically—even though your broker account still has funds available.
This can happen when:
- The remaining Trade Capital reaches zero.
- The remaining Trade Capital is lower than the next required trade amount.
This situation becomes more common when Martingale is enabled because recovery trades may require larger amounts after a loss.
Rather than placing a trade that exceeds the limits you’ve set, Dewbot simply ends the session. This helps keep trading within your planned session capital and prevents the bot from trading beyond the amount you intended to use.
3. Manual Stop #
You can also end a trading session yourself whenever you choose.
Simply click Stop in the Trading GUI.
Just like the Pause feature, clicking Stop does not interrupt a trade that is already in progress. If Dewbot is currently in the middle of a trade cycle, it will allow that trade to finish first. The stop command will then take effect at the beginning of the next trading cycle.
Once the session has fully stopped:
- Trading ends.
- The main settings become editable again.
- The Start, Call, or Put buttons become available again.
- The Stop button is disabled.
- Pause and Resume are disabled.
- The loss count and martingale step counters are reset.
At this point, Dewbot returns to its ready state, allowing you to review your settings and begin a new session whenever you’re ready.
What Happens After a Session Ends #
No matter how a session ends, Dewbot returns to an idle state and waits for your next action.
What you do next depends on why the session ended.
- If your Target Profit was reached, you can set a new profit goal and start another session.
- If your Trade Capital was depleted, it’s a good idea to review your Trade Capital, Base Amount, Stack Method, and Martingale settings before starting again.
- If you stopped the session manually, you can make any changes you want and begin a fresh session whenever you’re ready.
Understanding the different ways a session can end makes it easier to follow Dewbot’s behavior and know exactly why trading has stopped. Whether your profit goal was achieved, your assigned session capital was exhausted, or you chose to stop manually, Dewbot always returns to a ready state so you can prepare for your next trading session.
