What Is Target Profit? #
The Target Profit setting tells Dewbot how much profit you want to make before ending the current trading session.
Think of it as your session goal. Instead of allowing Dewbot to continue trading indefinitely, you decide how much profit you want to achieve, and once that goal is reached, Dewbot ends the session following its normal trading process.
Using a Target Profit helps you stay in control of your trading by giving every session a clear finish line.
Where to Find the Target Profit Setting #
You’ll find the Target Profit field in the main Trading Dashboard after Dewbot finishes launching.
This setting is available in all versions of Dewbot:
- Dewbot Lite
- Dewbot Prime
- Dewbot Pro
Simply look for the field labeled Target Profit in the main trading parameters section.
How to Set Your Target Profit #
Setting your Target Profit only takes a few moments.
Step 1: Launch Dewbot #
Open the version of Dewbot you want to use and wait for the Trading Dashboard to load.
Step 2: Find the Target Profit Field #
Locate the input box labeled Target Profit.
Step 3: Enter Your Profit Goal #
Click inside the field and type the amount of profit you want Dewbot to aim for.
For example:
- 5
- 10
- 20
- 50
Remember, this value represents your profit target, not your account balance or Trade Capital.
Step 4: Review Your Settings #
Before starting your session, make sure the Target Profit value is correct and that your other trading settings are configured the way you want them.
Step 5: Start Your Trading Session #
Once everything is ready, start Dewbot and let it begin trading.
How Target Profit Affects Your Trading Session #
Target Profit determines when your trading session should come to an end.
Imagine you’re driving to a destination. Once you arrive, the journey is over. Target Profit works the same way—it tells Dewbot when the session has achieved its goal.
For example, if you set:
- Trade Capital = 100
- Base Amount = 2 (Pro only)
- Target Profit = 10
Dewbot will continue trading until the total profit for that session reaches 10. Once that happens, it will stop trading because the target has been achieved.
Having a Target Profit helps give each session a clear structure and can prevent trading longer than you originally intended.
Why Target Profit Matters #
Setting a Target Profit can help you:
- Set clear profit goals before each session
- Keep trading sessions under control
- Reduce unnecessary market exposure
- Avoid continuing to trade after reaching your objective
- Maintain a more disciplined trading routine
For many users, it’s one of the most important settings to review before starting a session.
Target Profit Limits by Version #
Each Dewbot plan has its own Target Profit limits.
Dewbot Lite #
Lite supports a smaller Target Profit range to keep trading sessions more controlled.
Dewbot Prime #
Prime allows a higher Target Profit range, giving you more flexibility for larger sessions.
Dewbot Pro #
Pro offers the widest Target Profit range with the fewest restrictions, making it the most flexible option for advanced session planning.
If you enter a value that exceeds the limit for your Dewbot version, the value may be rejected.
How Target Profit Works with Other Settings #
Target Profit doesn’t work on its own. It works together with other trading settings, including:
- Trade Capital
- Base Amount (Pro only)
- Martingale progression
These settings influence how quickly your profit target may be reached.
For example, a higher Base Amount may allow Dewbot to reach your Target Profit more quickly. However, if Martingale is enabled, it can also lead to larger trade amounts during a losing streak.
In simple terms:
- Higher Base Amount = Potential to reach your target faster, but with larger Martingale progression.
- Lower Base Amount = Slower progress toward your target, but smaller Martingale progression.
It’s a good idea to choose a Target Profit that makes sense for both your Trade Capital and your other trading settings.
Best Practices #
Before starting a trading session, take a moment to review your Target Profit.
A few good habits include:
- Choose a realistic profit goal.
- Make sure it matches your Trade Capital.
- If you’re using Dewbot Pro, make sure it also matches your Base Amount.
- Consider how Martingale could affect your trading progression.
- Avoid setting targets that could lead to unnecessarily long trading sessions.
Smaller Target Profit values usually result in shorter, more controlled sessions, while larger targets may require more time and greater market exposure.
Before clicking Start, always make sure your Target Profit is set to the value you intend to use.
