Stopping a trading session in Dewbot is different from closing the application.
When you click Stop, Dewbot ends the current trading session but keeps the application open. This allows you to review your settings, make changes, and start a new session without going back to the launcher.
How to Stop a Trading Session #
If you want to end your current session:
- Open the Dewbot Trading Dashboard.
- Click Stop.
- Allow Dewbot to finish the current trade cycle.
- Wait until the session shows that trading has stopped.
- Review or change your settings if needed.
Important #
Clicking Stop does not cancel a trade that is already running.
If Dewbot is in the middle of an active trade when you press Stop, it will allow that trade to finish normally. The stop command is applied at the beginning of the next trade cycle.
This helps prevent interrupted trades and allows the current cycle to finish cleanly before the session ends.
What Happens After You Stop Trading? #
Once Dewbot has fully stopped:
- The current trading session ends.
- The main trading controls become available again.
- All editable trading settings can be changed.
- The loss counter and martingale step tracking are reset.
- The Pause and Resume buttons become unavailable.
- Dewbot returns to an idle state, ready for a new session.
Depending on your Dewbot version and the session that just ended, Dewbot may also save some session information internally for its own tracking purposes.
What Controls Become Available Again? #
After the session has stopped, the dashboard returns to its normal idle state.
If you’re using Oscillate mode:
- Start becomes available again.
If you’re using Slide mode:
- Call and Put become available again.
You’ll also notice that:
- Stop is disabled because no session is running.
- Pause and Resume are disabled.
- Settings such as Trade Time, Target Profit, Stack Method, and any other available options can be edited again.
This lets you prepare your next trading session without restarting the application.
How to Start a New Trading Session #
When you’re ready to trade again:
- Make sure the previous session has fully stopped.
- Review your trading settings.
- Update any settings you want to change.
- Choose your preferred trading style:
- Oscillate
- Slide
- Start trading:
- Click Start if you’re using Oscillate mode.
- Click Call or Put if you’re using Slide mode.
Dewbot will begin a completely new trading session using your current settings.
Restarting the Entire Dewbot Application #
Sometimes you may want to restart the entire application instead of just ending a trading session.
To do this:
- Close the Dewbot Trading Dashboard using the window’s close button.
- Confirm that you want to exit.
- Wait for Dewbot to close completely.
- Open Dewbot again from the launcher.
- Select the version you want to use:
- Lite
- Prime
- Pro
When Dewbot closes, the browser session it was using also closes. Launching Dewbot again starts a fresh browser session and runs through the normal setup process before opening the Trading Dashboard.
When Should You Fully Restart Dewbot? #
A full restart is recommended if:
- The browser was closed accidentally.
- Your broker session was disconnected.
- Your login session has expired.
- Dewbot asks you to restart the browser session.
- You want to begin with a completely fresh trading environment.
Best Practice #
Use Stop when you simply want to end your current trading session, change a few settings, and start another session quickly.
Use a full Dewbot restart when you need to refresh the browser, reconnect your broker session, or start with a completely clean setup.
Knowing when to use each option helps keep your trading sessions running smoothly while avoiding unnecessary interruptions.
