System Requirements for Running Dewbot

2 min read

Before you install Dewbot, it’s a good idea to make sure your computer meets the basic requirements. Dewbot is built to run in a specific environment, so using an unsupported device, browser, or outdated system can lead to installation problems or prevent the bot from working correctly.

The good news is that Dewbot doesn’t need a powerful gaming PC. As long as your computer meets a few basic requirements, you should be ready to go.

Windows Only #

Dewbot is currently designed only for Microsoft Windows.

It was built specifically for Windows computers and relies on Windows components during installation and while it’s running.

Officially supported versions:

  • Windows 10
  • Windows 11

Older versions of Windows may still be able to run Dewbot, but they are not officially recommended and may not provide the best experience.

Unsupported devices and operating systems #

Dewbot does not currently support:

  • Android phones
  • iPhones or iPads
  • Mac computers
  • Linux systems

If you try to install Dewbot on any of these platforms, the installation may fail or the application may not work as expected.

Supported Browsers (Chrome and Edge) #

Dewbot works by interacting directly with your Pocket Option trading page, so using a compatible browser is important.

The supported browsers are:

  • Google Chrome
  • Microsoft Edge

These browsers have been tested with Dewbot and provide the best compatibility.

Although other browsers such as Firefox, Opera, Brave, or Safari may open the trading website, they are not officially supported and may cause unexpected behavior during automation.

For the best experience:

  • Keep your browser updated.
  • Avoid installing too many browser extensions.
  • Close unnecessary tabs while Dewbot is running to improve performance.

Internet Requirements #

Since Dewbot communicates continuously with the trading platform and its own verification system, a stable internet connection is essential.

During a trading session, Dewbot needs to stay connected for:

  • Pocket Option communication
  • Account verification
  • Market updates

For reliable performance, we recommend:

  • A stable broadband connection
  • At least 5 Mbps internet speed
  • Low network latency
  • Minimal connection interruptions

If your internet connection becomes unstable, you may experience:

  • Delayed trade execution
  • Connection timeouts
  • Verification failures
  • Interrupted trading sessions

If your connection is lost completely while Dewbot is trading, the session may stop until your internet connection is restored.

Tip: A wired Ethernet connection or a strong Wi-Fi signal is generally more reliable than a weak mobile hotspot.

Minimum System Requirements #

Dewbot is lightweight and doesn’t require high-end hardware, but your computer should still have enough resources to run both the browser and the bot smoothly.

Minimum requirements #

  • Operating System: Windows 10 or Windows 11
  • RAM: 4 GB minimum
  • Processor: Dual-core CPU or better
  • Storage: At least 500 MB of free space
  • Display: 1366 × 768 resolution or higher
  • Browser: Updated Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge
  • Internet: Stable internet connection

Recommended for the best experience #

For smoother performance, especially during longer trading sessions, we recommend:

  • 8 GB RAM or more
  • SSD storage
  • A modern processor (Intel Core i3/i5 or equivalent)

Running Dewbot on a very low-end computer may result in:

  • Slow browser loading
  • Delayed bot responses
  • Freezing during setup
  • A higher chance of failed automation steps

Quick Checklist Before You Start #

Before launching Dewbot, take a moment to confirm the following:

✅ You’re using a Windows computer.

✅ Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge is installed and up to date.

✅ Your internet connection is stable.

✅ You’re logged into your Pocket Option account.

✅ Dewbot has been fully downloaded and installed.

✅ Your computer has enough available RAM to run both the browser and Dewbot smoothly.

Checking these items before you begin can help you avoid common setup problems and give Dewbot the best chance of running smoothly from the start.
